Galaxy S24
Upgraded from S23 to S24 and I lost all my credentials, mostly password and username. And now I'm unable to get into my Samsung account I've had for 20 years. In fact, for the past couple of years I noticed I kept getting notifications from the linked Microsoft drive or cloud backup that said like unable to backup so I clicked on it and asked me for password which I put in but it kept telling he it was wrong. The next thing I did was hit lost password or username (I can't remember which) and then asked me to fill in the rest of my phone number (verification, I think), but then it said I can't connect 2 accounts at the same time!
So, for all this time I couldn't figure out what to do and I'm basically still having that problem and I don't know if those 2 are connected somehow, or if they're 2 separate things. Anyway, I can't register my ole device to regain all my whatever is stored in my Samsung account. How I got here was to create a whole new identity and account to at least try to get some answers.
Can anyone help me to find out how I can re-establish with my old Samsung account? I'm hesitant to continue registering my new S24 with my new identity until I'm convinced it's useless to try to regain my old account.
Anyone have insight?
1 thing I forgot to add : it's still in my notification list to finish registering my Samsung account and won't go away, obviously, until I finish the process.

Thank you. I followed they prompts when doing exactly that, but for some reason my Samsung account got messed up in the process. I haven't had the time yet to call Samsung for help with getting all my Samsung data back. I think they have to somehow cancel my old one and allow me to change my password. I don't know. Been so busy with other stuff right now though. But thank you.

Hi. Thank you... When I connected new and old phones together the process began on its own. All I did was follow the prompts. Way different from when I went from S10 to S23 . I used smart switch then. So going from S23 to the s24 I assumed everything would be okay, Samsung would just switch over but it didn't. And now it's too late since I sent the phone back. I have always gotten the promo at T-Mobile as opposed to buying my own phone. I know it's a rip off doing it that way, but I never had the $$ upfront to buy a phone. Plus I was always afraid I would be comprised from full benefit with my provider T-Mobile so I got it all from them. Been with TMO 27 years. Back then, Omnipoint was the only carrier that got you service without credit checksv and you could leave the store with a phone and service! Sold and been with them ever since, and through all the buyouts and name changes. But that was a great link you sent and I really appreciate that.
