Set default browser to none

How do I set the default browser to None? There is no such option in settings.

You cannot.  Why does it matter which one is your default?  You can still open any browser you want.  The default is the one that will open when you click any particular link in an app, message. QR code, or email.  If you want to decide which app opens with that particular link, you can just copy and paste the link into the one you want to use.  Even if you reset/clear the defaults, it will always revert back to Samsung internet as the default browser (It's a Samsung phone).  So, just pick the one you generally like best and make it the default.

Because some people actually choose between browsers depending on what they are searching for. For instance, my work uses Chrome. But if I want to personally go read anything from a blog post, there are so many ads these days, they block the actual text. I haven't found a good ad blocker on my phone, so I would prefer to open a browser that blocks ads better than Chrome when I read from these types of sites. I also want to open different email links in different browsers. School stuff needs to go to the system my school uses, while work links go to Chrome. Yet, I can only choose one setting for all my emails. Having the choice might not be everyone's preferred way, but deciding your way is the only way someone maps and processes information or organizes their digital space is as simple as yours isn't helpful.

Because it used to be a feature where you click on a link and it asks which browser it opens.
Seems unnecessary to perform several steps when it was possible easily

On any phone (or computer) I ever had, you did not get to make a choice in the moment, so I don't know which devices you had that did this.  There was always a default browser set (usually the one that came pre-installed.) If one wanted to use a different browser as their default, they downloaded it and selected it as their default.

Over the past 25+ years, I have never had a smart phone ask me in the moment which browser I wanted to use to open a link.  I have been asked when I installed a new browser if I wanted to make it the default.  It would be more of an annoyance to be asked each time I clicked a link which browser I wanted to use, rather than just choose a default and copy and paste an occasional link if I didn't want to use the default for whatever reason.

This is what I meant. It will list all available apps and let the user choose. As long as you didn't select Always, the pop up appeared every time I clicked on a link.

At some point you must have hit always. You would have to reset defaults to get back to that. Why you would want the annoyance of that, I can't imagine

They Should Remove DuckGo it's a Waste of time, same information as Google, I think it's a Remote App. My comment

Samsung did not put DuckDuckGo on the phone, the user did, presumably because they wanted it there.  DDG has the same features as all the other browsers, EXCEPT tracking.  One uses it when they don't want targeted advertising or tracking where they go next.

Right, I installed it. On a side note, their windows version (Chrome with poorly designed UI) is bad. It just published all the history to my Google account linked to Chrome
