'24 Prius LE / Samsung S24. Samsung Watch6 In my previous car (2016 Prius), if I received an email, SMS, or similar notification, I'd get an audible notification on my phone. In the LE, nothing. For some notifications, I get a popup on my watch, but no audible. How do I get an audible notification while I'm in the LE?
I meant on the phone. Sometimes it automatically enters driving mode when connected to the car. Check to make sure the mode has not been activated. It usually turns off all "distractions".
I find that many times, the Bluetooth audio does not come through on the car's speakers, despite being connected. Since the phone is connected by Bluetooth to the car, the phone notifications might also be silenced (although I still get voice guidance from maps on the phone, even when connected to the car). You can check if the Bluetooth volume slider on the phone is turned up. In many cases it's muted. The volume slider is only visible when the phone is connected to a Bluetooth device.
