Stop my Galaxy smartphone from monitoring other users' SmartTags

Can I stop my Galaxy S24 from listening for SmartTags of other users in the bluetooth range? I want to know if I can opt-out from this feature.

Hello Rorrim, Welcome to the Community. We understand wanting to turn off the feature allowing the listening for other devices in Bluetooth range.

To turn off this feature follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings, then Security and Privacy

2. Tap on Lost Device Protection

3. Toggle off Offline finding

Please note, this will also prevent your phone from being located when it is offline.
