They heard you, Samsung has brought back the ability to hide your Navigation Bar and Swipe Gestures.

You will have to download Goodlock and specially NavStar once installed toggled on NavStar, Enable extra gesture settings.

Go to settings. Display, navigation, show more, have fun again.

Ps. If you already have both apps and you are not seeing those options, Open Goodlick again scroll to NavStar, tap on the more, go to store, there will be an update waiting. For some reason it isn't showing up in updates

And yet even though it was "mandatory", there were still ways to disable itEither by tinkering or with a launcher. If another app adds an alternative, Google has no say in it. Samsung already has alternatives to other "mandatory" google services that you can download, just as others provide in the app store. Providing the option in Goodlock, an app which isnt installed on samsung phones by default, does NOT go against Google requirements. Hence, yes, there is a loophole they can provide if they so choose.

You don't see the difference? Samsung isn't breaking the agreement. You are using a 3RD PARTY app not a Samsung App to circumvent it.

... 🤦‍:male_sign:

My main point was they already allow you to circumvent google with their other apps they (Samsung) themselves developed, some of which aren't installed by default, nor available in the Google play store. So I guess on one point you'd be correct- they aren't breaking the agreement regardless.

Samsung isn't and they are the ones who make the agreement with Google. They are first party. They can't make apps to circumvent the agreement. Joe from some garage didn't make the agreement and can do what they want.

The stock Google gestures are a bad iPhone clone and I absolutely hate that we're being forced to use it
