I hope they’ll eventually allow us to have both the old-style alphabetical order and custom order options at the same time. But for now, if you want the old style back, you’ll have to manually reorder them the way you prefer. As for me, it’s not a big deal since I only have one page of apps. I put my app drawer icons in folders and slimmed it down to just one page of icons.

Samsung User Iphone 7

Absolutely agree. After a lifetime of Samsung I went to an iPhone in 2024 to get away from Google. I couldn't wait to switch back and when I did earlier this year I was SO happy to be back. I may as well go back to the iPhone after this update. The customization abilities on Droid are the reasons they're superior to iPhones. I'm considering going back. 

Does anyone know how to get the search bar back to the top? As silly as it may sound, the iPhone search bar being at the top is a big deal for me and a major factor in going back to the Samsong Android.

Ui7 is horrible. I feel exactly the same way about it's being like an iPhone now. Whose idea was that? Please fire them immediately. Time to look for another phone (and my S24 Ultra is just a few months old. So disappointing.

The new UI update is awful, looks like a kid's game/app, why this after I spent so long customizing my phone to look the way I wanted it to look. Never again, I'm going to back to Pixel phones.

I feel the folders are too limited as there's only 2 sizes. We should be able to make them as big as we want. For example. Have it stretched across a row in thr grid. Maybe add a carousel feature idk. Just something to make them better

Super crummy update. Why screw with the way my tiles look on my apps? Why change my settings? Why make the phone practically unusable with *bleep* suggestions, literally lurking around every strike on the screen. What a complete nightmare.
