Visual Voicemail not working with Google VPN

My S24 Ultra's visualvoicemail wasn't working. I have my VPN thru Google 1. 

If you've has a similar problem the fix is to have the Google 1 VPN "bypass" visual voicemail in settings and it will work fine

I dunno why they put vpn on these phones cuz you can't do nothing normal when it's turned on

So far the only thing the VPN interfered with was the visual voice mail. Verizon couldn't figure it out and I came across the answer just by chance.
