Voice to text Google message

Since the last update the mic is missing when I use Google message. Nothing I have looked up enables it. Even the voice option in settings. HELP!!

Go to Settings >General Management >Samsung keyboard settings >Voice input and select Samsung voice input. This should add the Mic option to the lower left corner of the keyboard.

This didn't work. I had to download the GBoard app.

Update tookaway the microphone- everything is checked that should be and it does not show up

As follows - General management > keyboard list and default > keyboard button on navigation bar. 

Now look on the bottom corner of your screen, while the keyboard is open and you will see the mic icon tucked away there nice and neat! Your welcome!
