Is your router leased by your isp? You could ask them but I upgraded my internet speed and it said "up to speeds at 1000 mbps,". This all could be dependent on wifi channels, the 40/80 frequency range. Many factors you may have to ask your isp, or a forum for your router. You access these options in a website interface, or app if they offer such. Maybe I read wrong, but your router won't give your phone the wifi 6 is how I read it.
Read this if you want, it's from Google Gemini
Wi-Fi 6 can use the 5GHz band: A Wi-Fi 6 router will likely have a 5GHz option, but not all devices using the 5GHz band are Wi-Fi 6.
Wi-Fi 6: This is the latest Wi-Fi standard (officially known as 802.11ax). It operates on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz
