1st off i mention to them when had phone few days after getting it on 5th of last month kept getting notify app cloud wanted to install games and apps without my permission how i dfsable and block notifications

then 1 day 2nd week of that i had phone i accidently click on that dumb att and t cloud app by mistake why i got notify back on 16 to optimize battery usage backup i said not now then few days later i asked me to continue to finishing it up which did nothing then on 27th notify me again to optimize battery backup which i said later

i decided on that day so will not get notify again to also disable and block notification guy said that because of me opening up app is reason why it wanted to do it in 1st place

it is true at and t brand they don't let you optimize device care in battery that why it stuck on unrestricted and can't choose optimize nor restricted having shield and saying what current version device care is

i didn't know that they have it display and i couldn't actually look at phone myself went to walmart all they had s24 phones meh

I used At&t for many years, and started with them out of loyalty because my Dad worked for Southwestern Bell (which became At&t) all his life, and they were a fantastic company back then. But after getting **bleep** time after time after time by them, I switched to T-mobile. I have been happy with T-mobile until the beginning of this year, when their new CEO has started screwing his customers ( especially his loyal, long - standing ones ) too. Not really many customer - friendly options out there now, I'm afraid. Good luck to you.

After multiple times trying to explain the device care app to you, you still do not understand the nature of the app - is there something wrong with your comprehension?  Device care must remain unrestricted so that it can perform the functions it is supposed to.  *That* is why you cannot change it.  Why the moderators are continuing to let you post multiple threads on the same issue is beyond me, as they remove duplicate posts for less egregious violations.  This setting has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with AT&T or what anyone at the store did with your phone.  If you are getting notifications for optimizing your phone, I can assure you that no one is telling you to restrict Device Care's battery usage.  You are being told that device care has detected issues that need to be addressed and that your *phone* needs to be optimized.  It would help if you provide a screen shot of the exact message you are getting.  It would also help if you actually made a coherent post as to what exactly is happening.  Your grammar is all over the place, which makes it very hard to understand what you are writing.  Stream of consciousness ramblings do not help people help you.  If you truly think that something is wrong with your phone, put in an error report so that it can be addressed by the programmers or factory reset your phone to clear out any errors.  And please stop making multiple posts on the same issue.  If your issue does not get resolved, just edit your original post to add more information.  If no one is responding to your posts, it most likely because no one has a clue as to what you are talking about, and it is easier to ignore your posts than decipher them.

Also, if you have an AT&T phone, the games and apps are being downloaded by AT&T, and it's part of the contract that you sign when buying a phone from them.  They don't need your explicit permission to download stuff, you already gave that permission in your contract.
