Hello, When I set an alarm I don't see the clock in the notification panel telling me my alarm is set.

I believe the notification icon for an alarm will only be shown if the alarm is imminent, I believe within an hour or two.

That needs to be changed. People use alarms typically while they sleep, so the status bar clock icon showing up is not going to be seen. At the same time, people setting the phone alarms then wonder if their alarms are set as they see no indicator.

I don't do the programming, nor did I make the change.  I only know it used to show up in the notification panel once an alarm was set, along with other running apps, such as weather, antivirus, routines.  It does not show up now.  Anyone who bothers to set the visibility of their status bar icons knows to look at the status bar to see what's active.  OneUI7, as I understand it, took away most of the icon visibility, but if Quickstar has been updated for OneUI7, one should be able to add back or remove the indicators they want.  The alarm indicator is quite visible once an alarm is set.  In the meantime, there is also an alarm widget one can add to their home or lock screen to see if it's set.

What I also just discovered, is since it does not show in the notification panel, it also does not show on my AOD like it used to.  It absolutely must be changed back.

Tbh, I never paid attention to this until I saw this thread. The alarm feature is an important use for people who use it and having visuals that identify that (or any feature for that matter) should be shown as active on one way or the other.

As I said, it's been a while since I set an alarm, but I am 100% positive the bubble showed in the notification area at all times from when the alarm was set to when it was dismissed. It is outrageous that it's no longer there. I did supply a workaround of either adding the alarm widget or creating a routine snd using that instead of the alarm.

The alarm icon should show up on the status bar when set (or you can select it to with Quickstar). As for showing in the notification panel, I believe Oxford is correct, but I think it used to show there all the time when set to allow easy cancellation. I'm not sure, though. It's been a while since I set an alarm.

Until they decide to bring back the notification of the alarm, I suggest the following workarounds.  Also, send feedback through the support tab that you want this feature back.

1. Put the alarm widget on your home screen and AOD. That way you will be able to set, check and disable it at a glance.  You can add multiple alarm widgets if you use more than one alarm.

2. Instead of setting an alarm, create a routine to play music at your wakeup time:  You can also create a routine to *set* your alarm at a certain time for a certain time (set alarm at 5 p.m. for 6 a.m.), that way if you see the routine is running, you know the alarm has been set.
