Are unlocked phones able to be used on all carriers and internationally

Hello everyone. This will be my first time buying an unlocked Samsung phone. I usually get my phones from carriers, so everything is always set up for me. I have a question about networks. Will an unlocked Samsung phone work on both Verizon and T-Mobile? Or even internationally? I see online that there is a US version and an international version.

The Samsung phones will work on any carrier and all MVNOs in the US. As far as internationally, I cannot answer that.

The international (vs US) phones vary in what bands are supported so for example while my US phone can get some 5G in the UK, it doesn't get the same 5G coverage as a UK version does. And I assume the same is true for 4g

As @Tom6068 stated it will work with any carrier as for international carriers you would need a local Sim card

The samsung will work through the entire world if you buy it unlocked someplace it just won't be as fast as it is usually but dont be scared you might not notice the speed difference
But yes it will work for any carrier any country and any state

Just be aware that unlocked phones don't get updated as soon as carrier locked phones for some reason. I'm talking about software updates.

Not everyone is obsessed with updates. Anyway, updates for unlocked phones are *maybe* delayed for a couple of weeks.
