Galaxy S25The original post's title is about percentages. You responded. Please go dog someone else.

Galaxy S25It looks like you turned the transparency slider all the way to the right, not to the left. 100% transparency would be to the left. I am, as you may have noticed, still on OneUI6.1, so some settings might be a little different, but the transparency has always been consistent with total transparency to the left and full solidity to the right.

Galaxy S25Do you want to add the widget because you need to see the battery level? Do you need to see the battery level to determine when it's time to charge? If you want to know when it's time to charge, see my post above to set a routine to notify you that the battery is low. Using a routine also has the advantage of not cluttering up your screen space and you don't have to constant glance at your phone to see the level. Set it and forget it. Interesting that they seem to have designed OneUI7 so you can have a streamlined home screen but fudged the transparency levels.

Galaxy S25It does not function currently as I experience the same thing regardless of the transparency setting; it simply remains static. I think once the whole UI 7.0 beta is finalized to be released for the earlier Galaxy/Fold, etc models, then the S25 series will (hopefully) be updated as well. The pill status icon showing the battery level with a white background using black fonts is a big issue with many users. One of the forum leaders here who was part of the beta said that was in the beta frump big time. They need to allow the changing of the contrast or go back to white fonts with no background.
In the meantime, the suggestion to sue the widget isa good one until this is addressed overall.

Galaxy S25So, you want to look at how fast your battery is depleting, rather than just knowing when it was low. Since so many people are complaining about the fact that they can't read the battery percentage, I think that they probably will do something about it eventually. As far as the widget goes, I don't know why they don't have a singular widget as they do for other things. Seems rather silly. You might be able to accelerate the process of getting either the icon or the widget changed by sending feedback via the support tab of the members app. This gets right to the attention of the developers, and I think the more "gnats" they have buzzing about it, it will get addressed faster since the developers do not read the forums.
