I recently upgraded from the S23 plus to the S25 plus. Everything works fine except for the Birthdays App widget. It will not automatically update. I need to tap on it and open the app and then it updates.
I have tried all of the app suggestions. The app is allowed all access and for battery I have it on Unrestricted and "manage app if unused" is off. It is not just the one widget - I have tried other widgets and have the same problem.
I did but haven't gotten an answer. I don't think they are supporting the app any longer since it hasn't been updated in awhile. It is a very good app and much better than the other alternatives.
