Galaxy S25
Hello, I just recently switched to the galaxy s25 and was wondering if anyone else is hearing a type of coil whine when their phone is active/is this normal or have i dropped it too much?
It's only audible when the room is dead quiet and has a mix of static, morse-code like sounds, and sometimes like as if it was writing to a disk.

Galaxy S25@StayHydrated I'm not hearing anything like that out of my S25 Ultra. If you think that it may be related to "I dropped it too much", you just might have caused some issue with the device.

Dropping it would certainly cause hardware issues. Keeping the phone in a protective case is a must as the S25 is a slippery device.
Open the Device Care app, scroll down diagnostics and run the phone diagnostics test. It may produce a result relevant to the noise. Then that will have to be repaired with parts probably having to be replaced.
