S25 Ultra all apps are using the same notification tone and not the default

I've been an avid Samsung user for many years, and just upgraded from the s24 ultra to the s25 ultra. The s25 is playing the same notification sound for every single app. For example, my WhatsApp, ring doorbell, text messages, Facebook, Gmail, etc all make the same alert sound and there's no way to make the app play their default sounds. I spoke with 2 different Samsung employees on chat and they both told me it was not possible and they have no record of notification issues. So, I proceed to drive to an authorized repair shop and they told me its a Samsung software issue and my best bet is to return the phone until Samsung fixes their issue. 

Anyone else having this issue? Any idea when a much needed software update will be released?

I've tried this, when I reinstall them they say default sound, but that's not the sound it plays.

Uk user here. Same issue. 

And if I go in the modification settings there's NO "app provided sound" anymore

once you've enabled the " Manage notification categories for each app" Setting by doing this: Settings > Advanced settings > Manage notification categories for each app (toggle On). Then you can go into each of your apps you want different sounds for. e.g.  change my text message sound: Settings > Apps > Messages > Notifications (click on it) > Notification Categories > Incoming messages > Sound (I can make it whatever I want)

Did samsung just remove this feature altogether? There should be the app provided sound in notification categories.

So, let's say you're using Snapchat. You receive a notification. There would be a snapchat notification noise when they either send you a message or call. It's the same with discord, ebay, Facebook, etc because they all have default notification sounds.

Im trying to look for the apps default notification noise. Every app i have is the same samsung notification and it irks me.

There seems to be options to choose in what you show maybe you can find a customized option from store

Although there is options, I'd much rather prefer the notification sound of the app. The Samsung s22 never had this issue. If I had a notification from an app, i would know which app it is based on the default sound that was programmed with installing it.

The s25 changed or removed some previous tones i.e ringtone or notifications
