Mobile Hotspot not broadcasting

Hey folks, I've had a s25Ultra for about a month and I cannot get the mobile hotspot to broadcast.

I've checked APN, mobile data, changing the hotspot details, bands, the lot.

No device can see the hotspot. I don't think it's broadcasting at all. I also notice the password is displayed without being blanked out. Whereas my pixel and s22 before hand, had it starred out when you viewed it.

Is the software bugged? What can I try?

Check to see if you have it hidden. Configure it and at the bottom should have advanced. It should show the second picture.

Keep in mind some devices will not see a wifi 6 standard it gives warning when you turn it on about connection issues.

As for the password displayed mine does it and it doesn't bother me. I rarely use Hotspot. That seems like a bug to me and needs to be fixed for those who consistently uses it.

@kamtheman On my Fold 6, the Hotspot password is not obfuscated (starred out). In my viewpoint this is not a security issue. It's your phone, you unlocked it, you are looking at the settings.
