Phone not connecting to Android Auto Bluetooth

I just received my  new Galaxy S25 Ultra, but when I have the bluetooth turned on in my 2018 Honda Accord, it still rings on my phone.  However, it does show up on the car display, but I don't want it ringing on my phone as well. 

I spoke to a Samsung CS rep today that said it's an issue and we have to wait until an update comes out, but he couldn't tell me when and then he promptly hung up on me.  Not sure why?

I had the same problem – not being able to connect to my car via Android Auto on my Galaxy S25 Ultra. I tried for 30 minutes following the phone’s and car’s instructions and trying an Android Auto reinstall and phone reset to no avail.

I later noticed that there might be some sort of communication conflict as there was some reference to my old S22 Ultra being connected via Bluetooth when my S25 Ultra was plugged in. Note that I used Smart Switch when setting up my new phone which may or may not have been causing the conflict.

MY FIX – I went into my car’s Bluetooth settings and unpaired/deleted my old phone. Suddenly, when I plugged in my new phone, new pairing/android-auto instructions popped up and I was connected. I hope this helps some of you.

I am having the same issue.  I cleared the cache in Android Auto and Ford Pass, removed all previously connected devices and did a factory reset on Sync, then reconnected everything...I can pair it by bluetooth but can't connect/launch android auto.

I have tried all options. The only real fix at the present time is buying a wireless adapter.

I too am having this issue on recently purchased s25 ultra. Uninstalled AA, forgot all cars, etc. anyone get any luck resolving?

Same here I tried connecting my s25+ and it kept saying sync was trying to connect could not work around it

I had the same issue. Go to settings - security & privacy - turn off autoblocker, it will then give you options to transfer data/android auto, then I restarted my phone, Uninstaller honda link & android auto, installed honda link first, then android auto & followed setup with no issues
