Notification stacking?

Used to have the s22 ultra. LOVED it until it stopped working after huge, month-long carrier outage. 

For the most part, happy with new phone except notifications STACKING. No way to turn this off for most notifications. Tried everything. No "categories". Plus the idea of having to do this for each one (IF possible) is daunting! Thousands of people HATE this. Samsung really needs to read reviews and change this HORRIBLE feature. It is a huge negative!

Note the number 3 in the red square which indicates there are three messages for this one app from the three different channels to which I subscribe in that app. That is stacking.
