Post OneUI 8.5 Upgrade / Video Call Issue.

After the OneUI 8.5 upgrade, video chat with another android phone (even another Samsung phone with oneUI 8.5) fails. It keeps saying "video declined". If the other phone tries the same, they get a "video declined" error as well. This seems to work fine before the upgrade as I would make routine video call.

Just a side note, video calls through google Meet do still work however.

I had the exact same issue and posted about it. I reached out to AT&T to troubleshoot. Spent a good hour troubleshooting, but to no avail. They say the issue is on the Samsung end. Who knows at this point...

When i Google my exact issue with the ui, it tells me Samsung is pushing ppl to Google meet

My song still shows on. But when I call some one on video it auto declines the video. When u look at the setting while on the call it's turned off and won't let you turn it on

I'm sorry it is for me. It did not have the issue until the update. Not to mention, both of my daughters who do not have 8.5, the native video calling still works.

My S25 just updated today as did my partner's and both lost the video call ability which was working yesterday. There is however the ability to use "call closed captions" which I tested and totally does not work well. ha! I have a friend who has an S23 and their video call button is still on there so I am displeased. I don't want Google in on my video calls. 

Also, on when people received the update/lost the feature, there is another thread on here discussing the reason for the roll out being different for everyone using the same phone could be tied to  your billing date. Some mentioned their  updates /patches are usually a few days before their billing cycle and some mentioned it is a week after their billing cycle so that could be why some noticed it last week.

Same issue here! Husband and I both have S25 models, lost video calling ability directly after the update. It is NOT an At&t issue, 100% an update issue
