RCS Chat and STRAIGHT TALK not working

It's been over 4 weeks now and I, Samsung or Straight talk can get this feature to work. IS anyone having this issue and is using Straight talk.  I have tried EVERYTHING on here that has been suggested. It simply will not work. Certainly, someone knows the issue and can and will help.  Please.  Straight talk all but refuses to keep talking to me and Samsung insists that it is a carrier problem.  Someone please help!!

If your talking about Samaung messages, samsung is selective about what carriers rcs work.

If your on google messages try this. Turn off your wifi. Go to app info on Google Messages, force close, clear "Storage", reopen app. That should help clear out any issues

Thank you for the quick reply I forgot to mention I'm talking about Google messages I've already tried what you just described and it hasn't worked

It is a carrier issue, not the chat application or Samsung. Anyway, try this, open Google messages, then click on your avatar right of the search function. Then open message settings/RCS chats and toggle on "Automatically resend as text(SMS/MMS)" and see how that works.

While there, note at the top under that under "Turn on RCS chats" will (at least should) show underneath that function your carrier. If clicking on the tiny circle with the "i" in it, it will tell you the carrier provides the RCS feature under their terms.

I also have Straight Talk and I'm having the same issue with Google messages. Everything was working fine and then all of a sudden out of the blue RCS chat stopped working. I've done every possible thing I could think of. It won't work. In the settings where you click on chat it says RCS chat not compatible with phone.... how can that be? It worked perfectly fine with no issues for over a year and now I had to switch back to Samsung messenger just to get the RCS to work. Samsung messenger is so antiquated compared to Google msgs. I feel like I've taken a step back in time. But at least RCS chat works. I really hope Straight Talk fixes this issue.

Read earlier seems to be carrier related issue just that others where having same issue didn't see anything other than that

They took off the RCS feature for regular SMS. I never used google messages. But theres literally nothing you can do. Its my first time seeing samsung add a feature tab in the settings that doesnt even work anymore AND its still there.
