It's been over 4 weeks now and I, Samsung or Straight talk can get this feature to work. IS anyone having this issue and is using Straight talk. I have tried EVERYTHING on here that has been suggested. It simply will not work. Certainly, someone knows the issue and can and will help. Please. Straight talk all but refuses to keep talking to me and Samsung insists that it is a carrier problem. Someone please help!!
What phone do you have? Because I have an s25 ultra unlocked model that I purchased directly from Samsung however I am using Straight Talk and Google messages and RCS is working perfectly for me.
Okay that's interesting. Do you have a physical SIM card or an e Sim card. I apologize I haven't read all of the chat history here because there's a lot of it, but have you gone through the process specifically in Google messages of trying to set up Google messages for rcs? And if so does it show your phone number.
Yes .. I have a physical Sim card.. RCS worked just fine on my last phone but won't work on this once. Turned off before switching phones... Number is verified in my Google account. I have tried everything ... I just don't know what it can be... carrier says phone is not compatible because I brought my own phone.... Well hello.. I have brought every phone over to them since S21 came out and have had no problem. Samsung assures me the phone is capable and insists that it's the carrier... Carrier says it's Samsung.... It just won't work.... But always has... But I'm gonna keep asking and trying... I'm open for anything to try and get this going. Sooo... Keep the thoughts and suggestions coming... Hopefully it's something simple and we are all missing it . But it doesn't look like it.
Well.. this thing still isn't working.. and again I have been trying anything I can find. SOMETHING I FIND ODD... what do other think and why is it happening.. and how to fix it. When I go to Google Messages and check for updates and an update is available so I update . NOW RCS CHATS says it's not supported. **bleep** is going on... If I uninstall the latest update, it goes back to trying to verying phone number and this is where it is stuck at. Why would the newest version of the app cause the phone to not be supported? Take the update out... And it's supported? Makes no sense .. what to do? Is this part of the problem why RCS WONT WORK?
