I've been an avid Samsung user for many years, and just upgraded from the s24 ultra to the s25 ultra. The s25 is playing the same notification sound for every single app. For example, my WhatsApp, ring doorbell, text messages, Facebook, Gmail, etc all make the same alert sound and there's no way to make the app play their default sounds. I spoke with 2 different Samsung employees on chat and they both told me it was not possible and they have no record of notification issues. So, I proceed to drive to an authorized repair shop and they told me its a Samsung software issue and my best bet is to return the phone until Samsung fixes their issue.

Galaxy S25If you are still within your trade in period, I assume you are still within the return period. Why not just return the S25, keep your S24 and wait til they get the bugs out? It's not like the S24 is obsolete.

Galaxy S25Restocking fees should be illegal, although I do understand why they exist--it's to prevent people from having a "free trial" and then returning the item, so then the store has to sell them as refurbished at a discount. In certain cases, such as this, they should be waived. To me, this counts as a defective product, although it's defective software, not defective hardware, which is why they drew the line. Software can be corrected, hardware, not so much.

Galaxy S25I have had the exact same issue. I have managed to fix it for some apps but not for others. I have tried the same method and for some it just works!
I press and hold the app > click on the i > then go to storage > clear cache > clear storage > open the app > log in again.
If this doesn't work, I log out of the app > repeat the above > delete the app > re-install it > log back in.
It's really frustrating, some apps this has worked with fine and others it just doesn't work (I can't get it to work on messages, Teams, Eufy Security, Euphy Clean, and a couple of others).
I hope this helps some and hopefully Samsung provide a fix soon.
