I'm having an odd issue with the side button. I have it set to bring up the power menu but instead it opens the camera. I went into the settings and set it to Bixby and it opened Bixby. Switched back to power menu and it worked ..... once. Did a factory reset, same issue. Called Samsung. They don't issue a direct replacement so I had to order my replacement and Samsung put a hold on my credit card until they receive the defective one.
What is Long Press set for? The button re-maping itself doesn't seem as though it would be a hardware issue, unless it's not able to diffentiate between a double press and a long press for some reason.
I have the same problem. No matter what I set Long Press to it works the 1st time and then goes back to opening the camera. I've left it as Gemini for now in case they end up fixing it (and will use it for opening camera), but have changed my Double Press setting to open Gemini.
