I downloaded the Sound Assistant app from the Galaxy Store so I could customize the individual app volumes. I've added the apps and desired volumes, allowed the permissions but the volume is still the same across all apps on my phone. Any suggestions?

Are you talking about the notification sound volume, or the volume for, say, a video within an app?  Because they are not exactly clear what they mean by app volume and I have found that the notification sound volume stays the same volume regardless which app I add to sound assistant.  I had to lower the notification volume for all apps in the volume panel.

The notification volume stays the same. That's a bummer but at least that makes sense. Thank you. I was going crazy.

I know what you mean.  I was hoping, myself, to lower a single notification sound for an app, not all of them.  I see I am probably going to have to move the sound into a sound editor and normalize the volume to a lower level and then send it back to the notification folders.  I also just wish they should be more clear about which volume it is supposed to lower, since for most apps, the only sound *is* the notification sound.  I am going to try turning the volume on one app all the way down in sound assistant and if it turns the sound off, I'm going to raise it by teeny increments.

It would be a nice feature to have for sure!

Sometimes the volume control level works differently through a third-party app, so it may be that I just did not lower the volume enough. As I said, I'm going to turn the volume all the way down in sound assistant and wait for the next notification.

I have just confirmed that I did not originally put the volume slider low enough the first time. Try moving the slider all the way down to almost nothing, like 5%. You will hear a noticeable difference in volume.
