Sound volumes keep changing

I have customized the volumes of the various notifications (media, ringtones, etc) in the Settings > Sounds section, but the volumes keep reverting to the defaults (nearly maximum volumes!) What do I need to do to keep my preferences "stick?"

I've been having something similar happening. Except for mine they keep lowering. I thought I was doing something wrong. Have you filled a feedback through this app yet?

It turns out that one of my installed apps was changing the volume.
