SOLVED: Following the advice of Tom6068 (below) to clear the cache, the issue has been resolved.

Enabling the Media Page (accessed by swiping left on Home Screen) does not work if Google Discover is selected. However, it does work if you select Samsung News.
I did as you suggested... IT WORKED! The Media Page (swipe left on Home Screen) is working with Google Discover. Thank you very much for your help and persistence!
