Tons of photos gone

I have an S25+. Somehow most of my photos disappeared from my Gallery app!! **bleep**???!!! WHERE did they go? I want them back!! These hundreds of photos were not in trash. Nor could they all have accidentally dumped into trash from several folders.

I have a copy. But I had them all organized. It was shocking and upsetting to see they're all gone and im stuck doing that **bleep** over

For the future, it is best to regularly backup your phone on either your computer or on a thumb drive. I do this at least twice a month.

The backup should have had your folders intact. This has always been the case with my backups.

Do you sync them with Google photos, or Onedrive?

Check your Secure Folder. This happened to me once. I was really sad but I found all of them in the Secure Folder. Maybe yours are there.

I do my backups through the phone backup software-everything selected to flash drive. The backup is encrypted and requires a Samsung Electronics Inc account to decrypt the backup and install.
