Unable to add my Yahoo Email on my phone

I can't get my yahoo email on the phone. The screen is stuck on when entering the email address. When i hit continue, it stays on that screen. Help?!

Is your device locked and are you trying to use Samsung's email, Gmail, etc?

Not locked. It won't work from Gmail either. Didn't try Samsung yet.

It does same thing with all 3. Blue continue button does nothing after email address is entered.

Try using "Email" from Edison Software. It's free, can add many account from many domains and there are no ads. It also has a unified inbox as well. It works really well for me. It can be gotten on Google Play.

Thanks but this does the same thing as the rest of the email apps, won't connect to Yahoo and just sits there with a continue button that can't be clicked on.

When using the Edison Email, do not use the first setup page to enter in your email credentials. Just click that add account expansion on the bottom of that list and go from there.

Tried this as well and i get an error msg on 2 factor authentication and using correct password. I am using my correct password.

I'm stumped and I want to help more but this is as far as I can go with what I know. The only suggestion I have is to contact your carrier or search their site for email client configurations.

Thanks for trying! Carrier doesn't sem to know and Samsung tells me to contact Yahoo.

Is it only Yahoo? Just to see if that does not work, I added my Yahoo and it worked. Please note that I go through my internet connection on all of my accounts and not through a carrier. I have email accounts with my internet provider. Don't know if that is your issue with Verizon. I'm just thinking out loud here. Anyway, this is my Edison Email list with Yahoo now added to it. Note the avatar is the same one I use here that is shown by my yahoo email account.
