Unstable video at 5x or greater.

When shooting video using 5x zoom or greater, the shot will not stabilize no matter how still I hold the phone. It seems to only happen when shooting video at 5x or greater on the telephoto 115mm lens. Anyone else seeing this? I'm getting really tired of Samsung releasing phones, particularly the S24 and S25 Ultras with buggy cameras. Also, the processing of pics shot at 200mp is not good. The S24 Ultra had the same issues. Not sure why Samsung insists on processing photos.

I'll try it. When watching the video it doesn't seem to bounce and stutter as bad as what you're seeing while filming. There's also some bending around the edges. I don't seem to remember my S24 Ultra doing this. My wife has a S24 Ultra, I'll check hers when I get home

Please keep everyone informed. 🙂 If there is actually an issue, the techs need to see this so that can be resolved in any future updates.

Update: My wife's S24 Ultra does not do this. Hers is steady through 10x. It is a S25 Ultra issue.

Are you with Samsung or will they see this post. I haven't seen any other posts with this issue so I don't know if it's a widespread problem or just my phone

No I'm not with Samsung. I'm just a smartphone user like most people. I did submit the issue in the support tab with a brief description & the link to this thread.

Nothing yet. Mine only does it at 5x zoom or greater. You seem to be the only one that I've seen that also has this problem. Unless the phone is still too new for enough to report.

I have an s25 ultra and I am getting more stable videos on the 5x lens with stabilization turned OFF. The stabilization algorithm seems to be overcorrecting and introducing more stutter/shake. I also don't see the extra shake in pro video mode.
