Galaxy S25I just got the Samsung S25 Ultra recently and i went to take a screenshot by pressing the power and volume down button (which is how i would do it on my S21 and other samsung phones) but nothing happened. I kept doing it but the screen stayed the same instead of doing the light flashing to let me know it was complete, Then when i went into my screenshot gallery it saw all the screenshots i took. I googled and searched the samsung community and it kept pointing to the 'Samsung Capture' app not functioning properly. I've compared the settings in the camera and the screenshot section to my work phone (S21 FE) and my old phone (S21 Ultra) and can't find any settings that are different. The only thing i notice on my S25 Ultra is that the small edgepanel tab will flash, but not the whole screen like i'm used to.
Need help fixing this so that my screen will give the visual cue when a screenshot has been taken because this is utterly annoying.

Galaxy S25@LongHiker I finally found the problem! It was not where i would have looked but it does make sense now that i think about it.
Under Accessibility-> Vision Enhancements the 'Reduce Animations' was toggeled on. Once i turned it off the screen flashes as normal.

Galaxy S25@TooTall726 It is working properly on my S25 Ultra. Do you by chance have the screen brightness very bright?
You could try wiping the device cache partition. This would get rid of any corrupted temporary settings.
You could also enable the screenshot toolbar. Go to phone settings -> Advanced features -> Screenshots and screen recordings and enable "Show toolbar after capturing"

Galaxy S25@LongHiker i have the brightness quite low on all my phones and have it as adaptive depending on if i'm inside/outside. I raised the brightness and lowered it from my current setting to see if that makes any difference and it didn't unfortunately.
I did try wiping the cache partition but that didn't help.
Yes i could enable the screenshot toolbar to ensure i see the screenshot was taken. If i enable the toolbar then i get a popup and have to close it which, while small as it may seem, is an extra step. I'm more concerned why the screen is not flashing like all my other samsung phones and if it's a setting thing or a random bug somewhere.
