Will Samsung messages receive new features

Anyone know if SM will get any new updates like emoji reactions, editing messages, or replying to a specific message?

I saw something about Korea getting updates but wasn't sure if it would reach the states. It's also nearly impossible to communicate in IOS group chats as the messages get split up and it's just a mess

Sometimes we get updates after other countries kinda how the monthly updates go were at end of them
