I've been wearing my watch like normal, but today I noticed a place strip of plastic coming out from beneath the rotating bezel. Has anyone else noticed this? Will this affect the IP rating?

Unknown it could be part of the seal to keep it water resistant I would suggest taking it to a service center to have it checked out

I've never seen that before, so to make sure it's still water resistant, I would have it checked out.

Seems to me that would be an obvious mfr defect, the issue they may use to deny a claim could be that he pulled it out before havig it checked out.
