Galaxy WatchI have yet to get my watch to connect to any of the fitness equipment. I get the same frustrating thing where it says it “connected” but never does anything but show my heartrate on my watch. It then ends a couple minutes later and doesn’t record my workout and I lose my workout.
I know the machines work, or well worked with Samsung watches. A guy at the gym was able to connect to the equipment without issue. It was syncing with the equipment and showed his progress on his watch. He has an older model watch. I tried the machine he was using and I couldn't get it to actually connect like he could. The guy wasn't sure if there was a setting which needed to be changed or not.
Tonight I was discussing with the gym staff and one had last year's watch model? Nice looking one. He had the same issues as I did. He said they may need a firmware update. However, I mentioned and pointed out the guy who was able to connect.
Luckily he was just finishing up his workout and we went to talk to him about his watch so the gym staff could see how it worked. Turns out his watch updated and now he can't get it to work either.
Anyone know if there is some trick relating to the new updated os to get the watch to properly work with the equipment?
