GW4 Classic paired to Pixel 5

Anyone experiencing this?

Scenario 1: Incoming call answered on phone yet audio is routed to watch.

Scenario 2: Outgoing call initiated on phone yet audio is routed to watch

Cant find any setting (either on watch, phone, Bluetooth, wearable, etc) that seems to control this function

I never had that happen. Is this recent behavior or has it been happening all along?

It seems to happen intermittently. And noticed it going on for the past few weeks.   I cannot identify any recent change that would have caused this erratic behavior

The only thing I can think of is if you are accidentally tapping the Bluetooth icon on the keypad after making or taking a call.  Tapping the Bluetooth icon will route the audio to the first active Bluetooth device that is connected for calls and audio, as the watch is.  If you have ear buds or headphones or even an external speaker connected, the call audio will be routed there.  It could even be self-activating because it's confused.  On the next call, check to see if the Bluetooth icon has been activated.  If it's self-activating, you might have to clear your phone app's cache.  I don't know if Pixel phones have the same procedure for clearing the phone's cache partition as Samsung, so you might have to find out how to do it.

Thanks for your tips.  I'm definitely not accidently clicking the Bluetooth icon.  I've been doing some more troubleshooting and I did try clearing the phone apps cache, like you recommended.  I'll keep you posted as I make and receive calls in the next day or so.  thanks
