Galaxy WatchMy galaxy 6 used to keep the exercise information displayed while I was exercising, such that when I would look at the watch, the exercise duration, steps, heart rate, etc. would be displayed. To get to the "main" watch face, I'd have to press the home button. This is the way I think it should behave.
But after the most recent update (although I cannot for sure say it was the update, I just know that the watch wanted to be updated a bit ago, and a similar bit ago, this started happening), the watch no longer shows the exercise information. Instead it shows the main face. To see the exercise info I have to flip through the screens to the exercise screen and press the active exercise again.
This is not optimal.

Galaxy Watch@linus_first Not sure why you are experiencing that. For a quicker way to get to the exercise info, click on the little animated man icon at the bottom of the screen. That should take you directly to your current workout.

Galaxy WatchThat little icon was there for a very short spell, and then went away, as @jmeg79 pointed out.
But why did it / they change from having the exercise information pinned to the display while exercising. I don't want to have to press anything to see the stats while I'm running.

Galaxy Watch@LongHiker The problem is the little icon at the bottom no longer exists. I've been struggling with this too and it's really annoying.
I just found the solution here:

Galaxy WatchOk. After a short walking test, that seems to have worked.
Hopefully it won't start a bunch of notifications I don't want, but at least it's showing me my exercise.
Thanks for pointing that out.
I *did* search the forum. I guess my searching-foo is weak.
