Galaxy WatchI loveI Samsung products and have many of them. So I was very excited to get my Galaxy 7 watch. However, this purchase turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments. Who invents a smartwatch where the battery cannot even last a single day? The whole purpose of having a smartwatch is to be able to take advantage of the many features present on the watch. However, the battery in the Galaxy 7 watch cannot handle the load and thus runs out halfway through the day. When talking to Samsung there only suggestions was to shut down most of the functions of the watch. What good is a smartwatch if you cannot take advantage of all of its features? Using the watch in exactly the same manner each day sometimes in the morning I will have 50% battery after fully charging it at about 9:00 p.m. and some mornings I will only have 35% battery. Nothing has changed in the way I use the watch but the way it behaves is quite erratic. I think the Samsung Engineers need to go back to school because you cannot increase the processing power of a device and then leave the same tiny battery in it and expect it to perform in the same way as the old version. I tried to return the watch within the 14-day return window and basically Samsung refused to take it back. Had I bought it from Amazon I would have had 30 days to return the watch. So I will never again buy anything directly from Samsung as their customer service was not helpful and at times quite rude. Right now there are some good deals on the new Garmin watch I may trash the watch 7 and go for a Garmin instead. Shame you Samsung for producing an inferior product and then refusing to take responsibility for your engineering errors.
