Galaxy WatchI have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 since this week. I previously had the watch 5.I notice on the new watch 7 that the GPS data is incorrect. I use my new watch 4 times a week for running, often the same lap. The watch 7 shows a pace that is too fast for some laps and the kilometers are also too short. My lap of, for example, 10 km is already 700 meters before I have actually run 10 km, according to the watch, already at 10 km. I also see on the map that there is not a neat straight line across the path. Settings are exactly the same as on the watch 5.
Are there more people who have this with the new watch 7?
I'm wondering if my watch has a hardware problem, or if the software for the new dual GPS module is not quite ready yet.
Comparison of round with watch 5 and watch 7:

Galaxy WatchI have an LTE model, and when I run, the GPS goes off significantly. It can show a total distance of 5350m even though I've measured 5000m. The same goes for 10k meters. I've tried turning off WiFi, restarting the watch, and resetting it, but without any results. I've also turned on GNSS but nothing.

You can clearly see on the map that it goes off track, sometimes even creating a loop along the route, and so on.
I've also tried turning on GNSS in developer mode.

Galaxy WatchI used my new watch 7 on a hike (partially in the forest). I tested the gps and heart rate against my fenix with chest strap( which I have used for years and know to be accurate). THe gps was better than my watch 4 but still some 6-7% off on a fairly aggressive 7 mile hike. Most of the variance was in the forest but not all. So, disappointing given the supposed improvements. The heart rate shown was very close to the fenix on the way up (much better than the watch 4) but wildly off on the way down -a similar issue to the watch 4). AS the accuracy is very good in a stationary position I am not sure why the apparent issue.
While I am impressed by the health related functions (primary reason for purchase), I would not consider this a fitness watch. If that is the focus, best to go with Garmin or some other brand.

Galaxy WatchMy Galaxy Watch 7 LTE suddenly, mid way during a run goes off course with wrong coordinates and speed, making the data useless to me.
I have reported this to Samsung, no reply so far. I am using my GW4 for runs as a workaround, but hoping very much that a sw update will fix this. (The GW4 logs the same runs pretty accurately - as it has done for years..) Not impressed š

Galaxy WatchI am facing the same issue. I usually take the same route for my morning run. GW7 GPS is not accurate at all. MY Amazfit GTS 2 mini was tracking far more accurately. With GW7 both speed and distance are way off.

Galaxy WatchI'm adding my name to the list here. I'm having the same problem as everyone else on this thread. Today I ran 4 miles with both my Galaxy Watch 7 LTE and my old Garmin 920XT. The map from my Garmin Watch was smooth and the map from my Watch 7 was jagged and all over the place. Samsung needs to address this.

Galaxy WatchMy watch is different between walking and jogging. If I jog, it usually shows that I've gone up to a half mile less! And today I walked 4.8 miles, and my watch only registered 3.9. It's so frustrating!
