Hello, Like many others i was planning to buy the watch 4 but discovered it seems not to have Google Assistant. Is this true ? Is Google Assistant planned to be on the Galaxy Watch 4 ???
Starting this summer the Galaxy watch 4 will be able to download the Google Assistant from the Google Play Store. Once available and installed on the Galaxy watch 4, you will need to configure the Google Assistant.
To set up Google assistant by pressing a button: Go to setting > advanced features > Customize Key > Press and Hold
For Voice: Go to settings > Google > Assistant > Hey Google on/off
Apps supported by Google Assistant at the Launch will be: Maps, YouTube Music, Messages, Dialer, Agenda, Timer/Alarm/Clock.

After all the talk of collaboration with Google, it is unthinkable that this watch would launch without Google Assistant. Bixby is inaccurate and frustrating. I tried the iPhone and Applewatch for a month and while I couldn't stay away from Android and returned, Siri was nearly flawless. It is time for Samsung to deep six Bixby and acknowledge that it has been and is a failure. Implement Google Assistant and you will sell more watches.
