Dear Samsung Team,

I am experiencing several issues with my Galaxy Watch 6 after updating to Watch UI 6:

1. The watch frequently locks by itself without reason.

2. Heart rate tracking is not functioning properly, even when continuous monitoring is enabled.

3. Sleep tracking has completely stopped working.

I have already tried troubleshooting steps, including restarting, checking settings, and performing a factory reset, but the problems persist.

These issues have significantly impacted my user experience, and I hope they can be resolved soon. Please advise if there is a fix or if a patch update is in progress.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
Sajith Kumar

I'm not sure of all the issues you're having, but I, too, had issues with the update. This helped my watch. Go to security and turn off wrist detection. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I did try that when troubleshooting. Unfortunately, all issues still persist.

Fortunately my partner got an extended warranty. After 4 tries to troubleshoot with Samsung and have them correct this issue, I've given up. Filed a claim with the warranty company, they gave me the money back, and I'm going to try out Amazfit's wearable. This is my 2nd Galaxy watch to have an issue with and I can't do it anymore. I've been with Samsung more than a decade and this experience has been a pain.

I have a galaxy 5 pro for the fitness tracker, this new update has removed my active workout screen. Whenever I'm out running a 5k or 10k I have to go through the menus to see the screen except when I hit a lap. After 25 years I'm about to swear off Samsung products, I purchased a garmin and am now looking into an Apple phone. Maybe if they hadn't out sourced the kill codes (engineered obsolescence) to Google
