Galaxy WatchOn my Galaxy Watch 6, Spotify (or Media Player if I uninstall Spotify) keeps popping up ongoing Now Playing notification of one particular podcast episode that I have listened to in the past. Also the podcast is not really playing, only the notification is there. Tried following steps without success:
1. CLearing cache and data for spoitfy app and media player app on both watch and linked phone
2. Unpairing and reparing of the devices
3. uninstalling applications from both devices and reinstalling them
4. Updating the apps
5. Restarting devices
6 Checking the notification settings.
Only thing that worked is turning of the ongoing now play notification on the watch, but I want to keep this.

Galaxy WatchThe media player should not pop up on its own if something is not actively playing. If you have the media control tile added to your watch or you start the media player, then it will show the last audio selection you played (in a paused state), until you select a new track.

Galaxy WatchThat is what is weird. Nothing is actually playing. The media controls show always one particular episode of a particular podcast, with the timer circle as if the episode has ended (full circle) but the button has Pause icon, which of course does nothing if I click on it. Nothing is playing, on any other devices where I have my Spotify logged in, this happens only on my watch. I cannot remove the episode from the Media Control queue either, cannot click on it, cannot swipe it, nothing. It is not on all the time, but it definitely happens if not every than most of the days. And when it happens it stays for long, no idea when it ends, it's just random.

Galaxy WatchI know it's weird, but that's the way it is. It has to do with the "resume" feature. When you open media control, it will show the last thing played and you can resume or hit forward to go to the next track or swipe up to select what you want to play next. It is normal. If you have a watch and phone, you can choose whether to play on the watch or phone. If what is showing is not the last track you played, that is an error. If you play anything else, the next time you open media controls, that last item should be what shows. If it is showing as playing/paused, but it has completed, pressing play should resume the next track. Don't forget, there is a moment of silence between selections.

Galaxy WatchThank you very much for trying, but this is a bit different, I am not opening anything. The now playing icon pops up randomly by itself, whether I am listening to anything on Spotify, on any device or not. And as you have mentioned, it is not showing the last played track but one episode of a podcast that I listened to like a year ago. But hey, thanks for brainstorming, I think I am slowly but surely heading to factory reset of the watch though.

Galaxy WatchI have tried the adding - removing of the podcast and episode as well. Also just starting the episode again, and listening to it for the whole time so it will finish playing normally. Usually, when this happened and I started other podcast or song, the Spotify control on watch were showing correctly what is played. But this morning when I started different podcast which was playing on my phone, the controls on watch were showing the wrong podcast episode even during playing another one. I think yeah, I'll go for the factory reset probably, hopefully that will work. Thanks for the suggestion.
