I mostly listen to music from my Samsung phone, and I have an LTE watch (I can control the music from there too). Since I have a network connection on my watch, I wonder if I can listen to music from the watch itself by using Amazon Music, for example, and leave my phone behind sometimes.

I use Spotify on my watch, lets me listen to music while I cut grass so I don't have to carry my phone

I have Amazon Music, but it still depends on my phone. They have to be close to each other. Could you advise how you do it with your Spotify?

You can as long as you are connected to either a wi-fi network, cellular network, or download music files to your watch. Be aware, though, that it will affect your battery life.

I use Spotify because the watch will handle your playlists and you can setup the music to play off-line
