Hi,
First the good... I had issues in 2017-2019 with heart palpitations and got the Samsung Watch 4. It helped me obtain a diagnosis as proof of my crazy heartbeat numbers.
In 2019 I got a virus and never got better. I developed Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (Chronic Fatigue) and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (heart rate abnormally high like stroke out levels when sitting/standing)
I have been a Samsung only person for a long time now. Some things I would really like to see come in to play. I hate the charts and graphs regarding heartrate. As much as I didn't want to I looked at Spade & Co Health 3 and... though they don't have nearly as much going for them they have strong points where Samsung Wearable is just SORELY lacking.
1 is... you can share the family health data with whoever has the same watch. I have been so ill since 2019 my mom is my Power of Attorney and the charts/graphs are not helpful and I cannot share them to her. We are talking about with ME I can hibernate up to nearly 3 days.
2 is... the awful battery life. Yes it is decent for the average person... but for me and thousands like me who truly use this for the Heart Rate and blood oxygen data... The Spade & Co lasts me a solid 7 days. Why is it so poor?
3 as I have mentioned over and over... the charts and graphs. It is not easily legible and I worked in Data Analysis for my job before getting sick.
The Spade & Co shows my sleep AND will overlay my Heart Rate on top of it for easily seen data I need. Not this weird hi and low of the hour nonsense. Excuse me but that is what it is. I need something where I can track what happened, that doesn't require me uploading/downloading it to a computer and try to organize this mess to make a health picture. Spade & Co even has an average resting heart rate, something I need to track as well, again in a beautiful graph. It even has Ambient Sound! This helps me see what triggers make me worse... anything 60-65+ DB makes me decline much faster. Samsung does not have this.
I am right now wearing 2 watches... the Spade & Co 3 as my Samsung dies literally 3 times in the span that it takes me to need to charge the Spade. Now... does it have all the things that Samsung Classic 6 does? Absolutely not.
I have the Samsung specifically for the fall protection as many with POTS can faint. I feel much better living alone with it... but I don't feel safe when it dies in less than 2 days and I have been so ill I sleep 36 hours due to ME.
