Galaxy Watch@yashpal They do the Beta testing to ensure that as many bugs as possible are handled before the release. Much better than releasing buggy software.

Galaxy Watch@yashpal Releasing a beta for LTE requires getting carrier approval. As it is, the BT version of the watches get much more frequent updates than the LTE version because of carrier involvement. It seems that carriers aren't really concerned about making the updates available to their LTE watch customers.
