Ringtone sync doesn't match phone on watch

My Z Fold 4 rings on an incoming phone call and my Watch 5 pro chimes and vibrates if connected by Bluetooth but doesn't match the phone. 

Does anyone know what Ringtone sync is supposed to do?

That only works for Bluetooth connected speakers and headsets, not the watch

Hello, There. I was able to verify with our product support team that @liquid_ghost is correct. The ring sync is proprietary to only Bluetooth devices such as Headphones or speakers. The watch will not work with the ring sync feature.
