Smart watch whatsapp capability

Hello, is it possible to use Whatsapp on the Samsung Galaxy watch?  Thanks for reading and anticipated response.

Which Galaxy Watch do you have? There is an official Whatsapp app for WearOS devices (Galaxy Watch 4 and up) in the Google Play Store.

I don't have one yet, I am doing my research and thanks that sounds like it would work with a galaxy watch sold by my carrier. If I can use that app, then I will look into getting a watch soon. Thanks, verbumveritum
