Galaxy WatchWas it working before or did you just install it? Do you have an LTE or BT version of the watch? What's not working about it, no sound? Not opening? Are you getting an error message? if it's LTE, do you have your mobile data & wi-fi on and connected to a network? If it's BT, is Spotify on your phone and is your watch connected to your phone while opening Spotify?
There is so much detail you are leaving out. If you want assistance, it helps to be as specific as possible, not just "it doesn't work".

Galaxy WatchI just downloaded it to my watch 4, and it's working for me, but I won't use it on my watch because it eats too much battery, which is why I took it off. Can I ask why you need it on the watch if you have it on your phone?

Galaxy WatchSo, the watch is LTE then? The watch is not capable of connecting to public Wi-Fi networks, because they do not usually have SSID/passwords, so if you are not connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi, or your phone, Spotify won't play. If you are connected to your home network, it should play fine. I'm pretty sure it's not an app problem. If you are connected via a real Wi-Fi network or mobile data it should work. After you determine if you are really connected to a network, you might try booting your watch into recovery mode and deleting the cache partition and see if that improves the issue.
I used to play my music on my watch when going on my walks, but since the battery life on my watch mysteriously degraded, I can no longer do that, as my watch dies within 30 minutes if I do. My battery is good, and no one seems to know what the issue is, but I'm working around it until I can be sure battery life on a new watch would be better. Now, when I go for a walk or swim, I use my swim headphones which is also an MP3 player, so I have all my music loaded onto it.
