I am in the process of setting up my galaxy watch 4 and I cannot get past the region. I choose English (canada) then I get to select country/region and the only choices are places lkke Nigeria, Kenya, Qatar, Syria, etc. I don't have the choice of canada. How do I get my country and if I choose one of those countries will it affect how my watch tracks? What will it affect?
Sounds like you got an international version of the watch. You will need to return it and get one for U.S./North America. It probably won't affect the way it tracks (because people do travel), but you might not get the proper updates, and it may affect whether your carrier supports it (if it's LTE). Also might not be completely compatible with your phone.
