Galaxy WatchI bought a Watch3 LTE yesterday at a local best buy and Verizon is telling me they cannot activate my phone. I've tried to do it via the software as well as over the phone they're telling me my device is not supported. did I get a weird version or what's going on?

Galaxy WatchJust fyi I got this resolved. The issue is the IMEI isn't in the VZW database. Call and tell them that they'll need to submit a DMD (Device Management Database) form for the IMEI to be added. They did this for me it took about 4 days (including a weekend) to get mine activated; they told me it would take 24-48 hours.

Galaxy Watch@DSchumm
Here's a help article for your issue: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003193/
If that helps let us know which step here.
Should the issue continue, I would reach back out to the Samsung team here in that case:
In the US? --> https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/
Outside the US? --> http://www.samsung.com/visitcountry

Galaxy WatchThis trouble guide nor the Verizon guide work. On phone with Verizon both calls(techs) and in store was informed my unlocked watch is in fact locked according to their system so thdy can't activate the watch on their end period.

Galaxy Watch@usery5GoNFeRj6 sounds like you may need to contact Best Buy support for a return since the watch was not truly unlocked.

Galaxy WatchSame exact thing happening to me.
I also purchased from best buy.
It is supposed to be an esim and unlocked, but as far as set up gpes- I wasted an hour and a half on the phone with Verizon to get no solution and actually they hung up on me instead of just saying that my watch won't connect to their network. Period.. so i just assumed that there isn't anything that can be done to get it connected to the network. I can't believe I just spent almost 500.00 on something that doesn't even work!!!
