Galaxy Watch
My phone will no longer maintain a Bluetooth connection with my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. It connects and immediately disconnects. Both devices have been restarted, and no updates are available.
I have sent feedback with bug reports and have not heard back. Additionally, the "Galaxy Watch5 Plugin" that the Wear app downloads is reporting not compatible with my device in the Play Store.
Samsung support would only insist that my phone is too old to be stable and I should upgrade to the S23...

That's a bunch of lies and bull. I have the Watch 5 Pro and it's perfect on my S22U.
Try some of these:
• factory reset your watch
• go into your apps on your phone, show system apps, and uninstall Galaxy Watch5 Manager (this will most likely remove all data saved to the watch as well as factory resetting it)
• reinstall Galaxy Wearables app
If those don't work, one of your devices may have a fault Bluetooth chip inside of it.
Hopes this helps! If it does, make sure to select "Accept as solution", and if it doesn't, let me know and I'll try to think up some more things to try.

I take it one of the options worked? If you don't mind, can you tell me which one specifically? Lol

Sorry for the delayed response. In the end, doing a reset on the watch is what fixed the issue.
This is frustrating as I lost 3 weeks of health tracking data since its wouldn't let me perform a backup. The option to connect to a new phone (without reset) wouldn't work either.
Re-installing the Wearables app and plugin alone didn't help.
Thank you for your reply. It was way more help than Samsung support offered.

I'm curious if you could've backed it up via WiFi or not, I'm uncertain. Anyways, sorry that had to happen to you, but I'm glad that it works now!

I did try to backup over WiFi but it complained that I had to connect to my phone first 😒
